Hyderabad / Saudi Arabia : Like last year, this year too, the Cultural Festival of Indian Diaspora, organized by the Embassy of India, was held on Friday, 25-10-2024 at 06.30 pm at the Embassy of India, Riyadh, in which Tamils actively participated in the “Diaspora.

With the theme “Journey of Tamil Culture”, various programs like rock music, village dance, silambam, veena, venu etc. were organized in the indoor arena to prove the famous beauty of Tamil language and its years of tradition with pulsating cultural tapestry.
Tamil Nadu has shown so much hospitality, unity and generosity that the people of all states were amazed with the Tamil Nadu Pavilion.

The program was organized by All-India Guidance Committee Tamil Nadu State Coordinator Mr. Mohidin Salim and Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed who coordinated well, guided everyone, leaving no stone unturned as the delegates attended the program. The Tamil Sangam and spirit of indomitable resilience and unity of Riyadh, Damam, Jeddah and all major social Tamil organizations made the show a great success.
Tamil restaurants such as Thambis, Choja, Ponnusamy, Grand Lucky and Tamil social organizations in Riyadh offer traditional Tamil cuisine as part of Tamil hospitality in treating guests to a culinary journey as rich as its history. Compared to other states, it excelled in both the events and the pavilion, standing out and receiving accolades, the organizers confirmed, which will shine again in the next event.
The opinion of the embassy officials present along with the audience from other states was that the admirable amalgamation of the Tamil community, the essence of Tamil Nadu’s rich culture, history and contemporary significance really succeeded in putting on a great show with the festival and applauded the audience.
