Hyderabad : Saudi Arabia Telugu Association (SATA) Engineering Day (Engineers’ Day) It is a great joy to see our Telugu people celebrating together in Saudi Arabia, said SATA TBN President Yogeshwara Rao Veeravalli.
SATA Riyadh President Srinivas Macha said that in India, we celebrate Engineering Day every year on September 15. This is a day celebrated in honor of the famous engineer, freedom fighter, and Bharat Ratna awardee Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, on his birthday. We celebrate this day to remember his services to the field of engineering, especially his work in irrigation and water resources management, and to appreciate the work of engineers.
He has done great services in the field of engineering, especially in the construction of water resources projects, dams and bridges.
