Jyoti, a woman from Lakshmi Devi Palli village of Gangadhara mandal in Karimnagar district, was suffering from knee pain. Hearing what others had said, she contacted Chander Singh Swamy of Kollapur in Both mandal. He believed that he would cure the victim by performing natural remedies. However, in the name of natural remedies, the victim was held by two men with the help of a leg kick, causing injuries to her lower back, L2, L4, and L5. Based on the complaint of the family members, a case was registered against 5 people at Both police station and *Baba Chander Singh Swamy* was arrested and sent to remand, said the Adilabad DSP. Similarly, a case was registered against Penduri Manohar, Soyam Satish Kumar, and two others who assisted in the incident. In this incident, the victim was cheated by collecting 20,000 online and 1 lakh 50 thousand rupees in the name of puja materials. People should not trust the Babas and magicians who practice traditional medicine and should consult doctors who have obtained degrees from the government. They said that their problems are not cured by traditional medicine and there is a possibility that the diseases will increase. They warned that the district police will take strict action against those who cheat people in the name of traditional medicine.
