Thief arrested – Adilabad DSP L Jeevan Reddy

**A prisoner who is on parole and has escaped and is serving a ten-year prison term, has been arrested in a theft case.**

**A case of auto theft committed within 24 hours.**

**District SP congratulated the second town police personnel of Adilabad.**

Adilabad: A press conference was arranged with Adilabad DSP L Jeevan Reddy and CI Karunakar of the second town at the local second town police station on Thursday and the details were disclosed.

Details: On 19.09.2024 at 08:00 AM the complainant Mohammad Awaiz complained that his auto (B.NO. AP OIX 7797) was parked in front of his house and stolen.  He said that the value of the auto is Rs.1,00,000/-.  The police registered a case and caught the auto thief within 24 hours.

Accused:
Syed Aleem, Age 37 Years, Caste Muslim, Occupation Driver, Residence Chota Talab, Adilabad.  In 2014, he stole an auto in the vicinity of the Lingapur Police Station and served 1 year.  He was imprisoned.  He was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2019 for raping a minor girl in 2016.  Released on parole in 2022, he avoided surrendering back to jail.
