Adilabad: PMP Dr. Suryavanshi Dilip s/o Sesha Rao, Gudihatnoor, who treated a victim from Gudihatnoor mandal beyond his qualifications and made her sick when she was five months pregnant, was today diagnosed by the Medical Council and a case was registered at Gudihatnoor Police Station and he was arrested, said Utnoor A SP Kajal Singh IPS. He said that a case was registered against the doctor under the MPP Act for illegally giving the tablets required for abortion to the victim during the fifth month of pregnancy. He said that the doctor was arrested today.Β He said that as soon as it was found out that the doctor was not qualified, a case was registered against him as per the information provided by the district medical department. Similarly, he warned that strict action would be taken against those who indulge in such illegal activities and strict action would be taken against those who violate the law.
