Direct Recruitment to various posts in Government of India

1. UPSC invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment against 44 vacancies of legal posts in Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India and 40 vacancies of teaching posts in School Education Department, Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh.
2. The detailed Advertisement No. 12/2025, along with instructions to the candidates has been uploaded on the Commission’s website https://upsc.gov.in and also mentioned below. Interested candidates can apply through the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal https://upsconline.gov.in/ora/ from 23rd August 2025 to 11th September 2025.

Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) are invited for Direct Recruitment by selection through website https://upsconline.gov.in/ora/ to the following posts from 23thAugust, 2025 to 11th September, 2025.
1. (Vacancy No. 25081201223) Nineteen vacancies for the post of Assistant Public Prosecutor in (CBI) in Central Bureau of Investigation, Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (UR-09, EWS-01, OBC-07, SC-02) PAY SCALE: Level– 07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. AGE: 30 years for UR/EWSs, 33 years for OBCs and 35 years for SCs.
2. (Vacancy No. 25081202223) Twenty-five vacancies for the post of Public Prosecutor in (CBI) in Central Bureau of Investigation, Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (UR-12, EWS-02, OBC-08, SC-02, ST-01). PAY SCALE: Level– 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. AGE: 35 years for UR/EWSs, 38 years for OBCs and 40 years for SCs/STs.
3. (Vacancy No. 25081203323) Eight vacancies for the post of Lecturer (Botany) in School Education Department, Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh (ST-08). PAY SCALE: Level– 09 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. AGE: 45 years for STs
4. (Vacancy No. 25081204323) Eight vacancies for the post of Lecturer (Chemistry) in School Education Department, Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh (ST-08). PAY SCALE: Level– 09 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. AGE: 45 years for STs
5. (Vacancy No. 25081205323) Two vacancies for the post of Lecturer (Economics) in School Education Department, Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh (ST-02). PAY SCALE: Level– 09 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. AGE: 45 years for STs
6. (Vacancy No. 25081206323) Three vacancies for the post of Lecturer (History) in School Education Department, Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh (ST-03). PAY SCALE: Level– 09 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. AGE: 45 years for STs
7. (Vacancy No. 25081207323) One vacancy for the post of Lecturer (Home Science) in School Education Department, Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh (ST-01). PAY SCALE: Level– 09 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. AGE: 45 years for STs
8. (Vacancy No. 25081208323) Six vacancies for the post of Lecturer (Physics) in School Education Department, Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh (ST-06). PAY SCALE: Level– 09 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. AGE: 45 years for STs
9. (Vacancy No. 25081209323) One vacancy for the post of Lecturer (Psychology) in School Education Department, Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh (ST-01). PAY SCALE: Level– 09 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. AGE: 45 years for STs
10. (Vacancy No. 25081210323) Three vacancies for the post of Lecturer (Sociology) in School Education Department, Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh (ST-03). PAY SCALE: Level– 09 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. AGE: 45 years for STs
11. (Vacancy No. 25081211323) Eight vacancies for the post of Lecturer (Zoology) in School Education Department, Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh (ST-08). PAY SCALE: Level– 09 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. AGE: 45 years for STs
