Adilabad: The district is in a state of panic as a leopard has been roaming around, attacking cattle. The residents of Boath constituency are particularly worried after the leopard attacked cattle. This morning (Saturday), the tiger attacked a woman, causing further fear among the people.
Details reveal that Arka Bhimabai, a resident of Dedra village in Bazar Hathnur mandal, was attacked by the leopard while she was out for open defecation. The woman sustained injuries in the attack and was initially taken to the local government hospital. For better treatment, she was later shifted to RIMS in the district center.
The leopard attack on the woman has left the villagers in a state of fear and anxiety. They are now scared to go out for agricultural work. Forest officials are inspecting the site of the attack.
