Adilabad : In the current era of increasing cybercrime in society, people should be vigilant in the case of fake applications and APK files circulating in WhatsApp groups in Adilabad district, District SP Akhil Mahajan IPS has informed. Currently, in the case of an APK file circulating in the name of RTA e-challan in Adilabad district, the District SP has disclosed the details through a press release so that all the people should be aware.
It is advised not to install APK files as there is a possibility of data theft and cybercrime. If such things are circulating in the group, group admins are advised to remove them from the group. In case of any emergency, it is advised to contact the cybercrime helpline number 1930 by phone. In case of any social media or financial loss, it is advised to contact the cybercrime helpline number within the golden hour.
